Exploring San Francisco: Twin Peaks
What are the Twin Peaks? Where is it?
The Twin Peaks are two hills/peaks near the Sutro Tower. For a view of the city that isn’t difficult to get to, this would be the place to go! Not only is it easy to get to, it’s also an excellent view of downtown San Francisco! It is often foggy in this area, so make sure you go on a clear day and stay long enough to watch the sunset.
Uber Express Pool would definitely be the easiest/cheapest way. On the way there is cheaper than on the way back. It was a little less than 10 dollars on the way there, but more than 10 dollars on the way back; my starting point was downtown San Francisco. We went before sunset and left the place when it started to get dark. If you don’t mind going on a walk, you can also hike there.
What views can you see from there?
On a clear day, it feels like you can see so much of San Francisco from the peaks. It’s truly an amazing view. From the peaks, you can see the city, the Sutro Tower, and the Golden Gate Bridge in the far distance. Stunning!
What should you bring?
It is so cold at the top since it is windy. As it gets darker, the colder it gets; wear a heavy jacket (or bring blankets)!
